Amazon Transcribe recently did some updates; (but in my opinion it is not on par in terms of performance compared to Whisper models). Amazon Transcribe does have additional features like custom vocabulary and some filtering! (compared to distil-whisper) it does handle multiple-languages (like Whisperv2 and Whisperv3). Pricing wise; hard to say; it's also serverless; but the async endpoint has init and post-use time; It might also run on CPU / spot-instances could be interesting then. def. tricks to make this pricing competitive.
